EPS and XPS (Expanded Polystyrene and Extruded Polystyrene) are mighty useful materials for backing armatures or as a sculpting material. I have recently written tons of useful hints for sculpting with Polystyrene, but it is a text that may get published elsewhere and again I am not (yet) allowed to publish any of this myself for copyright reasons.
